The International Medical University Library is committed to supporting the University’s vision to be an innovative global center of excellence in learning, research and health care by providing convenient and effective access to high quality library services and collections in a variety of formats.

This will be achieved by:

• Supporting and facilitating the research, learning, teaching and administrative activities of the University by organizing, maintaining and providing access to appropriate resources in print and digital format.
• Providing access to and assistance in using emerging technologies which serve as a gateway to information resources within and beyond our institution.
• Providing a conducive environment and facilities for the use of the library resources for its users.

The International Medical University Library was established in 1993 to cater for the needs of students and academia of the University. The branch libraries which are located at Clinical School in  Seremban and Batu Pahat respectively houses materials for students and academic staff at the Clinical Schools as well as Hospital  Tuanku Jaafar Seremban and Hospital Batu Pahat staff involved with clinical teaching.

The library collection consists of books, audio-visual materials, databases and periodicals  on medicine, allied health and related field.

The Main Library in Bukit Jalil campus is located on the third floor with a floor space of approximately 20,000 sq.ft. There are a total of 725 seats comprised of several types. A concept of quiet and noisy area was introduced when the library moved to this new footprint in mid-2008. A Collaborative Study Area is designated for active group discussions. However, noise level should be kept at the lowest so as not to disturb other users. On the other hand the Quiet Study Area is designated for private and quiet study. Discussions are strictly not allowed. Users are expected to proceed to the phone room available in this area to make or receive phone calls.
